The amazing news for the 2007 - 2008 season is that the Tommasini VELOCISTA frame is now built from 100% custom carbon fiber tubing designed by Irio Tommasini and produced in Italy. The VELOCISTA frame was developed to meet the growing demand for carbon fiber frames and to ensure the best geometry fit for the rider.  All aspects of a rider’s measurements and needs are taken into consideration when building the frame to ensure the rider’s position on the frame and performance needs. The VELOCISTA does not have lugs and therefore is not bound by any angle constraints, making it possible to create the perfect fit.

The VELOCISTA looks like a monocoque frame, but it is not. The VELOCISTA is not made from a cast, it is hand built with 100% custom tubing in the Tommasini factory. The tubes are cut, mitered and wrapped to create the best geometry fit. To ensure the strength and to secure the joints the frame is then treated in a "vacuum" atmosphere. In addition the VELOCISTA features the new and exclusive Tommasini T-FLIGHT* carbon fiber rear triangle, 100% made in Italy, and interchangeable aluminum rear dropouts, that are an exclusive Tommasini patented design. 

The VELOCISTA exudes the Tommasini tradition of superb craftsmanship with a modern twist!

A 55 cm frame weighs approx. 1.050 kg.

Suggested fork is the FKT 55 (1-1/8” full carbon)
