New for the 2008 collection, the RAPIDO was developed to satisfy Tommasini fans that want a top of the line carbon fiber frame that is less expensive that the Velocista. The RAPIDO is a full-carbon frame with a monocoque front triangle. In his factory, Irio Tommasini and his technicians assemble the carbon fiber vertical wishbone and horizontal monobox, tightly together by the personalized aluminum dropouts.

The RAPIDO has also another unique feature, the carbon fiber used to build the frame is manufactured in Italy, and it has a Kevlar layer in the inner part of the tubing.

In order to be more aggressive in pricing, the RAPIDO is available in 6 sizes selected from the experience of Irio Tommasini, and therefore able to satisfy the majority of rider’s needs.  At Tommasini the Made in Italy flag always waves!

A 55 cm frame weighs approx. 1.250 kg.

Suggested fork is the FKT60 (1-1/8” full carbon)
